Extraordinary cargo

Oversized goods

The cargo dimensions exceed the length, width or height of a flatbed or open top container, but can still be packed into multiple containers

Excessive cargo includes: propellers, flanges or trucks, etc.

Goods that do not exceed the standard

The size of the cargo is smaller than or equal to that of a flatbed or open top container (i.e., loading requires the assistance of special equipment but does not require the displacement of additional vessel space).

Goods that do not exceed the standard include: machinery or large trees that can be lowered into open top containers, etc.

Bulk cargo

Goods that are so large in size and/or weight that they are not separable and are usually secured at multiple points with heavy ropes and placed on a flatbed.

Common bulk cargoes include: yachts, masts, industrial equipment or railway carriages, etc.
